The 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener DL400/468MP, 10mm x 20mm provides an aesthetically pleasing, unbroken surface without the use of unsightly mechanical fasteners. This fastener comes with 3M Adhesive Transfer Tape 468MP and is backed with a paper liner. This clear, 5 mil adhesive provides excellent shear strength, temperature and chemical resistance.

How do I apply it correctly?
Before application, ensure both surfaces you wish to attach the Dual Lock tape on are clean and free from oils/dust/debris. From there just peel off the protective liner from one side of the tape, press firmly onto surface A (the first object), then press surface B (the second object) into place securely - making sure both parts mate correctly with each other.

Adhesive Performance
3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 468MP provides excellent solvent resistance and shear resistance and exhibits excellent adhesion to metal and high surface energy plastics. This adhesive provides some initial repositionability for placement accuracy when bonding to plastics. It also performs well after exposure to humidity and hot/cold cycles.
